FUNDRAISER

This is the last few days and last weekend of our schoolwide fundraiser. Please be sure to sell items to support our schools and the programs we have for all of you! All order forms will be due Monday, October 3rd during all homerooms. Item delivery will be November 7th and all money will be due the week following. PLEASE MAKE SURE CHECKS ARE MADE PAYABLE TO BEDFORD PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

Family Night. Join us for a night of magic and laughs as nationally-acclaimed magician/comedian Jasen Magic performs for the Bedford community on October 13 at 7 pm, Bedford High School auditorium. Tickets are now available online. You must be pre-registered; tickets will not be available at the door.

Adult Enrichment and Education. We offer adult enrichment classes along with adult education/GED classes for adults. Online, hybrid or in-class options are available for all academic classes. Art, Computer, Fitness, Line Dancing and other classes are options available in-person in the schools. 

There truly is something for everyone. Check out the brochure for more exciting programs and events for kids of all ages; from art classes to yoga for adults. And if you are looking for something that we don’t offer ~ let us know and we will work to make that happen.

Think about the most awesome thing that you have ever done! Now imagine yourself at Game Club, and I am sure that those two events were very similar. Game Club kicks off this week in the media center. You can come by yourself and meet new people or you can bring a friend as well! It is a relaxed environment to make new friends and try out some new games and have fun with the classics too, there are so many options to choose from. A slight correction to the flier game club this week will not be on Thursday, like the posters say, as that is the back to school dance. Instead we will be meeting on Wednesday from 2:30-4. I can’t wait to see you there.

FOOTBALL GAME EXPECTATIONS

Junior high students attending the football games must be accompanied by an adult and must stay seated with that adult during the game. No students are allowed under the bleachers, or to congregate at the concession stand. Purchases can be made but students must return to their seat to eat. 

All school rules apply while you are at the game. Students who fail to follow these rules will be sent home, and may be banned from future football games.

CHROMEBOOK CHARGERS

Remember to charge your Chromebook. If something is wrong with your Charger, please bring it to the Media Center and enter a ticket.

Meal Magic

has changed the sites for our online food service account access. Instead of using the SendMoneyTo School.com or lunchapp.com links, you will now be using Meal Magic’s Family Portal: https://bedfordps.familyportal.cloud/

If you use the old links, it will give you a link to get to the right place and then you would have to search for Bedford. 

You will need to create the account on the new site: 

1. Click the Register button to setup an account.
2. For the Username, enter the email address you used for SendMoneyToSchool.com.
3. Accept the Terms Of Use and Privacy Policy.
4. Check your email for an activation link and click it.
5. Follow the instructions to complete setup.

Once that is done, all the account balances should have transferred over. 

There is a $2.95 service fee assessed at increments of $100. Cash and checks are still accepted at registers with no additional fees.

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

On Friday the girls cross country team competed at the Jackson Invitational and took second place! Almost every runner earned a personal record. Alivia M., Sophia J., Audrey G., Alaina B., Danielle W., Kennedy W., Ava T., Charlotte B., and Sydney M. all dropped over a minute or more off their previous record. Keep up the great work ladies!

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

The junior high boys cross country team took 3rd out of 22 teams at the Jackson Invitational on Friday.   They were once again led by the blazing fast Cam V. who took 3rd overall in the race.  2nd for the team was Maddi D. who broke into the 11’s with a great time of 11:52.  Other runners who ran personal best times were Owen S., Riley M., Griffin T., Matthew B., Chace and Jaxon G., Ethan S., and Bodie R.

8th Grade football vs Ypsilanti  has been canceled.  You will have practice today. 

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

On Wednesday the girls cross country team ran in their first SEC meet. Both the varsity and JV teams took fourth place.  Top finishers in the varsity race were Iva R., Audrey G., And Sophia J. Top finishers in the JV race were Charlotte B., Ava T., and Coeli H. Earning personal records were Kennedy W., Sydney M., Charlotte B., and Audrey G. Nice job ladies!!

All school rules apply while you are at the game. Students who fail to follow these rules will be sent home, and may be banned from future football games.

Family Night. Join us for a night of magic and laughs as nationally-acclaimed magician/comedian Jasen Magic performs for the Bedford community on October 13 at 7 pm, Bedford High School auditorium. Tickets are now available online. You must be pre-registered; tickets will not be available at the door.

Adult Enrichment and Education. We offer adult enrichment classes along with adult education/GED classes for adults. Online, hybrid or in-class options are available for all academic classes. Art, Computer, Fitness, Line Dancing and other classes are options available in-person in the schools. 

There truly is something for everyone. Check out the brochure for more exciting programs and events for kids of all ages; from art classes to yoga for adults. And if you are looking for something that we don’t offer ~ let us know and we will work to make that happen.

Think about the most awesome thing that you have ever done! Now imagine yourself at Game Club, and I am sure that those two events were very similar. Game Club kicks off this week in the media center. You can come by yourself and meet new people or you can bring a friend as well! It is a relaxed environment to make new friends and try out some new games and have fun with the classics too, there are so many options to choose from. A slight correction to the flier game club this week will not be on Thursday, like the posters say, as that is the back to school dance. Instead we will be meeting on Wednesday from 2:30-4. I can’t wait to see you there.

GIRL CROSS COUNTRY

This past Saturday the girls cross country team ran at the Daves Cross Country Invitational. The team took fourth place. Alaina B., Kennedy W., and Sydney M. all ran a personal record. Iva R. won fourth place overall. Way to go Ladies!

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

The boys cross country team took 3rd at the Dave’s Running Cross Country Invitational on Saturday.  The team was once again led by Cam V. who took 3rd overall out of the 160 runners.  Cam was again followed by Maddi D. and Logan T. who finished 2nd and 3rd for the team.  Others running well were  Griffin T. and Ethan S.  Great job guys!

REMINDERS TO STUDENTS✔ 

FOOTBALL GAME EXPECTATIONS

Junior high students attending the football games must be accompanied by an adult and must stay seated with that adult during the game. No students are allowed under the bleachers, or to congregate at the concession stand. Purchases can be made but students must return to their seat to eat. 

All school rules apply while you are at the game. Students who fail to follow these rules will be sent home, and may be banned from future football games.

CHROMEBOOK CHARGERS

Remember to charge your Chromebook. If something is wrong with your Charger, please bring it to the Media Center and enter a ticket.

Meal Magic

has changed the sites for our online food service account access. Instead of using the SendMoneyTo School.com or lunchapp.com links, you will now be using Meal Magic’s Family Portal: https://bedfordps.familyportal.cloud/

If you use the old links, it will give you a link to get to the right place and then you would have to search for Bedford. 

You will need to create the account on the new site: 

1. Click the Register button to setup an account.
2. For the Username, enter the email address you used for SendMoneyToSchool.com.
3. Accept the Terms Of Use and Privacy Policy.
4. Check your email for an activation link and click it.
5. Follow the instructions to complete setup.

Once that is done, all the account balances should have transferred over. 

There is a $2.95 service fee assessed at increments of $100. Cash and checks are still accepted at registers with no additional fees. 

Families can also use the family portal to fill out a free and reduced school meal application online since the universal free school meals program has ended. Or you can print the application using this link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1u1qdaefXY1ivcefOAQlXvD8SN5hqTDLY/view?usp=sharing
