Winter Boys Basketball League. Registration for the Boys Basketball League for students in grades 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 will run from December 1-21st. Students in grades 9-12 can submit as a team. The league will begin in January. Register at bedford.ce.eleyo.com

Save the Date: February 10 is the annual Daddy Daughter Dance for grades K-8. High school students are encouraged to volunteer to assist for service hours.

Winter classes and programs will be coming soon. Look for new driver’s ed classes, art and fitness programs and more league play to come in early December. Until that time, there is still plenty to see and do. Check it out – bedford.ce.eleyo.

Do not leave your chromebook unattended outside classrooms. You are responsible for the care of the chromebook that is issued to you and insurance will not cover negligence. Students that leave their chromebooks unattended can pick up their chromebook and their after school PENALTY HALL from Mr. Hurley.

Students, please make sure you are entering a Helpdesk Ticket before you come to the Media Center with a Chromebook issue.

The Helpdesk Ticket App is located within Clever.

Remember to charge your Chromebook at night. If something is wrong with your Charger or Chromebook, please bring it to the Media Center and enter a ticket.

STUDENT DROP OFF

Parents need to drop you off in the mornings in the back of the building only. No students are allowed to be dropped off at the front of the school for any reason. 

EARLY DROP OFF

Students must remain in the cafe until 7AM if they are getting dropped off early.

EXITING THE BUILDING

Students – if you are leaving the building early for an appointment, please bring your note to the Main Office first thing in the morning. The office will make a copy of your note – you will show it to your teacher and come to the office to meet your parent. They will not need to come inside to pick you up.

HALL PASSES

All students must carry an approved pass from an administrator or teacher to be in the halls during class time.  This applies to student council members, yearbook students, students with early dismissal, and any student who finds it necessary to enter the halls during class time.

HALLWAYS/CLASSROOMS

Only water is allowed in classrooms. Pop, colored drinks, etc. are not allowed.

Students should not have these types of drinks in the halls either; please toss them if they can’t be closed again or close them and put them in your lockers.

LOCKERS

Please make sure your bookbags are all the way in your lockers before you close them. We have had numerous jams.

HALLOWEEN PARTY

The incredible Halloween Party is tonight, Friday, October 27th. Wrist bands are only $5.00 and be purchased during the lunch hours or at the door.

We will have a Haunted Library and an amazing photo booth for you and your friends. Baked goods, pizza & pop will be at the concession stand.

Costumes are strongly encouraged for the Halloween Party but they must adhere to our dress code. Nothing inappropriate can be worn and fake weapons of any kind are not allowed.

The girls cross country team competed in their final meet of the season yesterday, the zone 2 regionals at Milan High School. Audry G placed third in the varsity race, with a time of 11 minutes and 56 seconds. VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME

7th grade grade football ended the season by smashing Pickney 30-8. Bedford had rushing touchdowns by Drew A. and Nolan B. Winter Boys Basketball League. Registration for the Boys Basketball League for students in grades 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 will run from December 1-21st. Students in grades 9-12 can submit as a team. The league will begin in January. Register at bedford.ce.eleyo.com

Save the Date: February 10 is the annual Daddy Daughter Dance for grades K-8. High school students are encouraged to volunteer to assist for service hours.

The incredible Halloween Party is this Friday, October 27th. Wrist bands are only $5.00 and be purchased during the lunch hours or at the door on Friday.

We will have a Haunted Library and an amazing photo booth for you and your friends. Baked goods, pizza & pop will be at the concession stand.

PICTURE RETAKE DAY

BJHS Picture Retake Day is Thursday, October 26th during homerooms. If you are getting retakes, please be sure to bring in your current picture packet to give to the photographers.

VARSITY FOOTBALL GAME

Students who are attending Friday home football games, you must be accompanied by a parent and remain with that parent for the game. You may not sit in groups without supervision. There should be no reason for any adult to discuss your behavior with you at the Varsity games. Be there to enjoy the game and time with your family!

8th grade football knocked off Saline to finish their undefeated season. Damion H. went Beastmode and lead the way with 5 rushing touchdowns. Bedford also had scores by Luke W. and Jaxson L.

Looking for Swimmers and Divers– If you are interested in being a part of the BJHS Swim and Dive team this season, please fill out this SIGN UP. Coach Scheffer will be using this sign up to email information out to athletes and parents.  The Season runs from Mid November to the end of January!

Community Education

Winter Boys Basketball League. Registration for the Boys Basketball League for students in grades 5-6, 7-8, 9-10 and 11-12 will run from December 1-21st. Students in grades 9-12 can submit as a team. The league will begin in January. Register at bedford.ce.eleyo.com

Save the Date: February 10 is the annual Daddy Daughter Dance for grades K-8. High school students are encouraged to volunteer to assist for service hours.

Winter classes and programs will be coming soon. Look for new driver’s ed classes, art and fitness programs and more league play to come in early December. Until that time, there is still plenty to see and do. Check it out – bedford.ce.eleyo.

CHROMEBOOKS

Do not leave your chromebook unattended outside classrooms. You are responsible for the care of the chromebook that is issued to you and insurance will not cover negligence. Students that leave their chromebooks unattended can pick up their chromebook and their after school PENALTY HALL from Mr. Hurley.

CHROMEBOOK ISSUES

Students, please make sure you are entering a Helpdesk Ticket before you come to the Media Center with a Chromebook issue.

The Helpdesk Ticket App is located within Clever.

CHROMEBOOK/CHARGERS

Remember to charge your Chromebook at night. If something is wrong with your Charger or Chromebook, please bring it to the Media Center and enter a ticket.

STUDENT DROP OFF

Parents need to drop you off in the mornings in the back of the building only. No students are allowed to be dropped off at the front of the school for any reason. 

EARLY DROP OFF

Students must remain in the cafe until 7AM if they are getting dropped off early.

EXITING THE BUILDING

Students – if you are leaving the building early for an appointment, please bring your note to the Main Office first thing in the morning. The office will make a copy of your note – you will show it to your teacher and come to the office to meet your parent. They will not need to come inside to pick you up.

HALL PASSES

All students must carry an approved pass from an administrator or teacher to be in the halls during class time.  This applies to student council members, yearbook students, students with early dismissal, and any student who finds it necessary to enter the halls during class time.

HALLWAYS/CLASSROOMS

Only water is allowed in classrooms. Pop, colored drinks, etc. are not allowed.

Students should not have these types of drinks in the halls either; please toss them if they can’t be closed again or close them and put them in your lockers.

LOCKERS

Please make sure your bookbags are all the way in your lockers before you close them. We have had numerous jams.

Wednesday, October 18th is Unity Day!

More than 1 out of every 5 students in the country have reported being bullied. By joining together and wearing and sharing ORANGE on Unity Day, we can send a unified message that we care about student’s physical and emotional health and that bullying will no longer be accepted in this society.

Make sure to wear orange on Wednesday to show that you are committed to choosing kindness, acceptance and inclusion.
